XOXO, Ashley Marie ♥

Hello darlings! Welcome to my personal photography blog, AllThingsGirlyy! My name is Ashley, and my goal is to inspire. I'm 21 years old, optimistic, happy, and taken by the most amazing guy! I have Type 1 Diabetes and celiac disease, but I don't let it stop me. I've been through a lot but it's only made me a stronger person. I'm nothing special, just the combined efforts of everyone I've ever known. I am obsessed with anything beauty related, i.e. makeup and nails, so you will see a ton of that here on my page! My second love is photography! I put all my faith in God, I know He has great plans for me and my future. I learn something new everyday about the world and myself, life is an adventure.

Anonymous: How does your makeup always look so perfect??? Tell me your secrets!!

Secret: many, many years of practice! :)

Anonymous: Idk what ibd is.

That’s okay! This is why I spread awareness though! IBD stands for inflammatory bowel disease. IBD involves chronic inflammation of all or part of your digestive tract. The two primary diseases of IBD includes ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. IBD can be painful and debilitating, and sometimes leads to life-threatening complications. It causes VERY painful abdominal pain and cramping. Also ulcers all throughout your digestive tract along with many other symptoms. And in the process can lead to many other diseases. It’s tough, I see my best friend struggle on a daily basis. But I believe in her and support her through all her good and bad days! Always will! ❤

Oh, don’t be sorry! We have been together for 6 years and 4 months. :) and yes, we plan on getting married! Actually have been talking about getting engaged a lot lately! ❤

Anonymous: This isn't a question, I just need to vent.. I've been going through so much with my mom and other people in my life all of these feelings over whelmed and today I finally just cried everything out. A boy I used to talk to me for 4 months just kept playing games, and today I finally realized he needs to go so I kicked him out of my life I'm trying to be a better person Ashley, I want to do so much better in my life and become happier at this moment all I never need right now is the love of God

You can vent to me as much as you need/want to! I’m here for you! I’m so sorry you’re going through so much. There isn’t a better time to build your relationship with God than now. He will help. He knows what you’re going through. Pray. Talk to Him! Whatever you do though, never give up! I know things can be rough sometimes, trust me. But you have a purpose! It’s good you kicked that guy out of your life because you deserve better! And I hope things get better with your mom. Remember, I am ALWAYS here for you! Be strong! You CAN get through this! You have a friend in me! ❤ HUGS!

Anonymous: I'm praying for you, beautiful. Just remember that God gives the toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. <3

Thank you. Very much! Your kind words truly mean so much to me! :) ❤

awkwardlystandingthere: How did you find out you had Celiac's. I am getting tested soon because I am having an issue with gluten. Which very well may be an intolerance, but better safe than sorry! Also what adjustments have you made since being diagnosed. Thanks!

My doctor had me tested a couple weeks after being diagnosed with diabetes because she thought I might have had it, even though I never had any symptoms at all or any signs of having it. So I had my endoscopy, and the doctor came out after and said that I looked great and that he was 99.9% sure I didn’t have it. He called a couple days later and said that I did. :( So, I started eating gluten free! Then one day at an appointment with my endo, she said that I was doing really well with my diet and if I had something with gluten every once in a while shouldn’t hurt. So every so often I do have something, and I don’t get symptoms. Well, I do sometimes, but only with certain things. Sometimes I feel like they may havemade a mistake and I don’t have celiac, maybe just gluten sensitivity. But for now, it’s celiac. A lot of people have it actually, but don’t know about it. 1 in every 133 people have it. So it’s good to get tested!!

As much as I LOVE Disney, this is sad… I watch this show all the time. :( And what’s even worse, is its celiac awareness month and it was still put on tv.
